I received my first degree in life from the “School of Hard Knocks.” In my 40’s, I went back to school and received a Bachelor of Science from Campbell University. My desire in life is to move closer to God in all that I do. After a year of formation, I am now an Associate with the Sisters of Notre Dame. The charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame focuses on God’s goodness. His goodness is evident in all that we experience in life.

Reading and writing are two of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy exploring new places and have learned, since my husband’s death, to enjoy the many benefits of solo travel.

Through my blog and other writings, I hope to inspire you to observe the goodness of God in all things and to recognize His assistance as you move through the difficulties of life.
