The Rocky Mountaineer Train Journey
I was introduced to the Rocky Mountaineer Railroad on one of the famous YouTube videos. The route that caught my attention was from Vancouver, Canada to Lake Louise and Banff National Park. This is on my bucket list, and I am looking forward to completing the journey.
Last year, a friend sent me an article about the USA route provided by the Rocky Mountaineer which began in 2021. The USA route goes in both directions from Moab, Utah to Denver, Colorado. I knew this was a Canadian outfit and was intrigued to learn that they were providing services in the USA. I immediately searched their website and signed up for the Moab to Denver route.
The terrain between Moab and Denver was constantly changing and the beauty was beyond words.
Also, the service on the Rocky Mountaineer was superb.
They handled all our luggage, provided transportation to and from the hotels and train stations, and provided excellent meals with all the amenities of a top-notch restaurant.
Several travelers, including my friend, had special dietary requirements that were taken into consideration with every meal.
Our journey began at the HooDoo Hotel in Moab, Utah. Transportation was provided from the hotel to the train station. We journeyed all day by train to Glenwood Springs, Colorado. We spent the night at the Denver Hotel in Glenwood Springs and spent the following morning exploring the town.
We got back on the train before noon and headed to Denver with more beautiful scenery.
If you enjoy trains, like I do, then this is the trip for you. I highly recommend the Rocky Mountaineer train journey from Moab, Utah to Denver, Colorado. You will not be disappointed! It is a very relaxing, stress-free way to see the beauty our country has to offer.
Let me know in the comments below if you have ever journeyed on the Rocky Mountaineer, and if so, what route did you take? Let me know if you are now inspired to book a train journey. I know you will enjoy it!
